La Foresta comprises the main house and a  detached barn within it's own grounds. The villa is located in the hills nearby Lucca with a vinyard below the property and woodlands behind. The swimming pool overlooks the Lucchese wine region to the south.

 This recently renovated rental property can sleep a total of 8 with three bedrooms in the main house and one bedroom in the converted barn. Every effort has been made to  to ensure privacy and comfort.
The entrance to the grounds has an automatic gate, with controls located at the entrance as well as in the house. There is ample space for parking. There is a covered pergola in the front garden, a large lawn with several beautiful trees for shade, and olive groves. The view from the front garden is that of the adjacent vineyard and the valley below.

The front door of the main house opens onto the dining area, a large room with lots of light and comfortable seating. The kitchen is to the left. The entrance area is open plan, with a marble counter dividing the two rooms, creating a very spacious environment with a modern feel.
The kitchen is fully equipped in stainless steel and marble, a 6 burner range and oven, dishwasher, microwave and ice-maker. There is also a fireplace in the kitchen.
A hallway leading further into the house from the dining area takes us to the living room. Off the hallway are a bathroom equipped with a shower, a laundry room with washer/dryer and ironing facilities as well as the linen closet, and a bedroom, furnished with a double bed, wardrobe and a desk. This bedroom, although smaller than those upstairs, is very cosy and light.

The living room occupies the back portion of the first floor.
It is comprised almost entirely of windows on the three exterior sides, with view of the back patio, the private grounds, and beyond, the forest. On the left side is a large table, while to the right are large and comfortable couches and an entertainment center; stereo, television, DVD, and satellite. The room accommodates many and allows for different types of activities. There are double doors leading to the back patio and garden.
 The upper level is accessed via a staircase off the dining room. All rooms on the second level are air-conditioned. The air conditioning system is self-regulating. Each room has an en suite bath with heated floor tiles.

The master suite has a large double bed, is very spacious and well appointed with a mixture of antique and modern pieces tastefully combined. There are several windows, providing the room with plenty of light and lovely views. The en suite bath has double sinks, a bathtub and a separate shower unit.
The next suite is also equipped with a double bed. In addition to the en suite bath with a bathtub and double sinks, the room has a walk-in closet. The floor-plan of this bedroom is not as spacious as the master suite, but is again well appointed and light.

The third bedroom on the second level has two twin beds.
The en suite bathroom has one sink and shower facilities. Like the other rooms, this bedroom is tastefully and comfortably appointed with nice furniture, and receives plenty of light. The bathrooms are all light, beautifully and colorfully tiled, and spacious as well as completely and thoroughly equipped.

The swimming pool is 10 meters by 5 meters and has uninterrupted views over the valley, in a completely private setting.
